Here I am, and here you are! Thanks for stopping by to read this. If you had told me a decade ago that I’d be running an online boutique, I would have laughed and said, "No way!" But here I am, doing just that. I've held various jobs over the years, from being a medical assistant and daycare worker to serving in the military. And let’s not forget my most important role as a wife and mom to five kids. Our youngest are twin girls who are about to turn two. How’s that going? Let’s just say the military was a breeze compared to dealing with them—my bosses were definitely easier, haha! Seriously though, it’s a privilege to have such wonderful kids. I’m not just saying that because they’re mine (okay, maybe a little), but they really are amazing. After I was medically retired from the Army in April 2024, I found myself wondering what to do next. I considered going back to school or returning to the medical field, but I knew that would be tough and expensive. After a few months of uncertainty, I decided to explore the idea of starting an online store. I had to figure out what would truly inspire me, and the answer was FASHION! But let’s be clear, I’m not obsessed with every trend out there. I wanted to blend my East Coast Jersey girl vibe with my new life in the Pacific Northwest. I figured there must be other women like me who love fashion but prefer a more laid-back approach—think minimalist. That’s the essence of Chic Veteran's Boutique—stylish, trendy, and simple, all while being affordable. I built this business with the everyday woman in mind. I genuinely love what I do—I get to shop for you! Every piece you see is carefully selected by me, with a focus on detail. So, what’s the takeaway?
